Politicians in the United States represent citizens at every level of government. Citizens entrust them with powers that have enormous influence over their daily lives. Why are some politicians more appealing than others? What makes citizens vote for certain politicians but not others? How do citizens make decisions about which politicians to elect? In this study, you will be asked to give your opinions that will provide insight into these and other related questions. Your answers will help to shed light on the decision-making processes that voters use to decide who will represent them in government. Your participation will enable scholars to understand why some politicians win elections whereas others do not. This survey will take about 7 minutes to complete.
