Jocelyn Yow took the helm as mayor of Eastvale in December 2020 and — at the age of 25 — became the youngest woman of color to serve as mayor of a California city. In addition to serving as the mayor of Eastvale, she is the policy manager for IGNITE National. She is committed to advancing gender equity and to close the gender gap in politics. Yow is an alumna of Norco College and the University of California, Berkeley, and is currently pursuing her master’s degree in government at Harvard Extension.
