This study explores how voters assess candidates for political office. This survey will help us learn more about how people evaluate political speeches and candidates running for office. The survey will take you around 10 minutes. In the study, you will be asked to read a short political stump speech made by a hypothetical political candidate running for President within your party. Following this, you will be asked to rate the candidate on a number of dimensions and then evaluate a series of general statements using a 1-7 scale.
