Sophie Hill is a Ph.D. student in government at Harvard University. Her research lies in comparative politics and political economy, with a regional focus on Western Europe. In particular, she is interested in populism, blame attribution, and the politics of redistribution. Sophie is a graduate student affiliate of the Center for European Studies, and a doctoral fellow in the Harvard Inequality & Social Policy program. Prior to joining the doctoral program, Sophie spent two years working in financial markets in London. She received her undergraduate degree in Mathematics & Philosophy from the University of Oxford and she holds an MA in Political Science from Columbia University.
